It has been a busy ‘marketing’ springtime in Belgium. Past months Devoteam Belgium has participated to or organized for instance the following events.
27.02.2013 – AZUG session at Devoteam
Devoteam hosted the AZUG session “Windows Azure and Twilio – A happy tale to tell” with our colleague Panagiotis Kefalidis as speaker.
01.03.2013 – Devoteam customer event “The Hybrid Enterprise: increasing business agility with a slice of cloud”
Devoteam organized on March 1st a customer event with the title “The Hybrid Enterprise: increasing business agility with a slice of cloud”. We had presentations of Geert Stragier, Rudy Van Hoe (Business Group Lead Server and Cloud Platform of Microsoft BeLux), Bart Van Wonterghem & Panagiotis Kefalidis and Kurt Roggen. The participants were very enthusiast about the presentations (good speakers, relevant content, no sales talk, real demo).
05.03.2013 – Devoteam hosts for a second time a Medianet Vlaanderen session
Being a member of MediaNet Vlaanderen Devoteam hosted on March 5th the session “Hoe gaan we van studio naar tablet? – Deel II”. With almost 80 participants the new office in Zaventem became cozy and crowded.
14.03.2013 – Devoteam on itSMF 2013
Also this year Devoteam participated to the itSMF conference in Belgium. Devoteam was represented with a booth and a presentation. This year’s conference topic “Building Blocks” explored the pros and cons of frameworks and processes and this based on three themes:
- Frameworks and processes (from best practices up to “Beyond ITIL – 10 things wrong with ITIL for the world of today”)
- Management and governance (project management, risk management, organizational change, …)
- Communication, training and soft skills (the other side of service management)
Interesting new concepts in the conference program were the ‘Buzz Blocks’ (what buzzwords will Service Managers be buzzing in 2013?) and the ‘@The Bar’, an itSMF Café to connect and expand one’s network with ITSM key players.
23.03.2013 – Devoteam customer event “SharePoint 2013 on your journey to increased employee, team and company productivity”
Devoteam and Avepoint, in collaboration with Microsoft, organized on March 23rd a seminar on “SharePoint 2013 on your journey to increased employee, team and company productivity”.
After a brief introduction (with some nice words for Devoteam) of Annelies Bulkens (Microsoft Belux Specialist Sales Manager – EPG) the seminar was built around two sessions:
- Session 1: SharePoint 2013, what’s in it for your business, how to reach end-user adoption with Arnold De Ploey
- Session 2: Your migration or upgrade project, new opportunity to realize business productivity with out-of-the-box SharePoint with Stefan Lodewijckx and Asaf Matyas of Devoteam partner AvePoint.
With over 55 participants we had a full house at the Microsoft offices. The evaluation forms were very positive.
